We’re recruiting Waste Collection Operatives to join our dedicated team in the Metheringham area, supporting services across North Kesteven.
About the Role:
As part of our operations team, you’ll play a vital role in keeping local communities clean and safe by collecting household waste. This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that involves:
• Reporting to the main depot in Metheringham
• Manual handling and loading of waste materials
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Walking long distances throughout your shift
• Working closely with colleagues to complete daily collection rounds
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, being outdoors, and contributing to an essential public service.
Requirements for the job are:
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good level of physical fitness
• Reliability and punctuality
Long term temp to perm role.
You will work Monday to Friday with a start time of 7am.
You will have a starting wage of £12.21 per hour.
This will increase to £12.39 following 12 weeks.
You will accrue up to 28 days holiday per year.
