Summary

What skills and experience we're looking for

Katesgrove Primary School is a large and friendly primary school in Reading. We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed person to join our successful and friendly school team.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of working in a school office
• Have common sense and an ability to work on their own initiative
• Work well as part of a team
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach

Duties include:

• Main Reception duties including visitor management
• Dealing with pupil attendance, data and communications
• General admin and school support
• Monitoring of stock and school supplies
• Liaise with finance staff and suppliers
• Administration of medicines and supporting children with medical needs
• Receiving and checking deliveries
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
• Maintain confidentiality and data protection
• A wide range of support tasks for the office and wider school team
