Summary

SENDIASS Caseworker

Location - 4th Floor, Sale Waterside, M33 7ZF (hybrid)

Salary range - Band 4 (£28,598 - £31,022 per annum)

About the Role

The key focus of the role is to give high quality information, advice and support to young people and their families. You will manage a complex caseload which includes supporting families through the exclusion process and the Education, Health and Care (EHC) process up to SEND Tribunal.

The Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS) is a statutory service providing impartial information, advice and support to young people with SEND and their parent carers, making sure they have the information, advice and support necessary to participate in decisions. This covers their rights and the law, Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), support resolving any disagreements, health and social care in relation to special educational needs provision, preparing for adulthood, personal budgets and much more. We currently have an exciting vacancy for a caseworker to join our team.

You will have flexibility in terms of hybrid working at home and in the office according to business need.

You will be required to travel around the Trafford area.
