Summary
Role: Project Engineer
Location: Cheltenham
Salary: £42,000 - £46,000
Day Shift: 8am – 5pm (12.30pm finish on Friday)

Overview:
This market leading engineering company are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join their site in Cheltenham. The company manufacture and supply a range of specialist products to various industries across the globe.
The Project Engineer will be a key member of the Engineering team, delivering future factory projects and working alongside Production departments to implement Continuous Improvement activities.
Responsibilities:
• To undertake general projects and improvement activities to enhance our products and manufacturing processes and costs
• Implement “Future Factory” solutions that guarantee manufacturing capability and capacity to meet demand
• Work with Engineering and Business Systems to deliver new technology projects
• Employ Lean and Agile techniques to all activities
• Developing project justifications and managing project teams, schedules and budgets
• Support the introduction of equipment and or processes from concept stage to the production handover gateway
• Strong communication with all stakeholders, suppliers and contractors
• Take Technical and Commercial decisions on the elements of process selection.
• Work on multiple project budgets that range from £50k to £1.5m each.
Requirements:
• Technical Engineering background
• A detailed understanding of project management
• Delivered multiple change projects, successfully and safely
• Experience in Lean and Agile manufacturing techniques
• Experience in creating and managing, project scopes, schedules, budgets &risk management.
