Summary
Skilled TIG Welder (Stainless & Pressure Vessels)
Location: Ellesmere, SY12 Work Type: Precision Engineering / High-Integrity Systems
The RoleForget the monotonous production lines. We are looking for a precision-focused TIG Welder to join our team in Ellesmere. This role is about integrity, aesthetics, and technical skill. You will be working primarily with Stainless Steel, focused on pressure vessels and high-pressure washing systems.
If you enjoy work where every weld is critical and quality is the primary metric, this is the workshop for you.
What You'll Be Doing- High-Spec Welding: Precision TIG welding on stainless steel components.
- Pressure-Critical Work: Fabricating parts for refrigeration or pressure-wash systems where "good enough" isn't an option.
- Technical Interpretation: Working from blueprints and schematics to build custom or low-volume units.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all welds meet pressure-testing standards and look as good as they perform.
- The "Hand": Proven experience in TIG welding (specifically Stainless Steel).
- The Background: Experience in pressure vessels, refrigeration, or hydraulic systems is highly desirable.
- The Mindset: A "measure twice, weld once" attitude. You should be comfortable working independently on complex assemblies.
- Variety: No "rinse and repeat" factory lines; every project has its own challenges.
- Respect for the Craft: We value the skill it takes to produce pressure-tight, clean welds.
- Local Environment: Stable work in a specialist engineering setting.
