FABRICATOR/WELDER

Based at Dalbeattie, DG5 4PL

Flexible work pattern based around a 42.5 hour week

You will be a key member of our busy maintenance team, familiar with MMA and MIG welding processes.


SOME RESPONSIBILITIES OF A FABRICATOR/WELDER INCLUDE:

* Evaluate engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications.
* Use of various hand and power tools.
* Use and follow site Permits to work.
* Assist maintenance teams as required.


ABOUT YOU:

Alongside your solid background in fabrication, preferably gained within a manufacturing environment, you are confident in working
alone or alongside a team. You’ll be technically minded, keen to learn new skills and hold your work to a high level. In addition,
you will have:

* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good understanding of computer-based systems and software.
* A high level of organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Problem solving skills.
* The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines in a busy environment.
* Sound understanding of health and safety practices.
