Summary

English Teacher – Daily supply across Hackney and surrounding areas, starting as soon as possible These flexible opportunities are ideal for teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings.Duties as English Teacher:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4
  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Assess and monitor student progress in line with curriculum standards
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and school policies
Ideal English Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching English at secondary level
  • Strong subject knowledge in literature, language and writing
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as an English Teacher
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities
  • Commitment to professional development and pupil welfare
