Summary
Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification The Cancer Education Programme Coordinator role is to support the improvement in the quality of cancer care provided by health and care professionals across Surrey and Sussex. The role includes coordinating and supporting training on cancer from prevention and screening, through treatment and care to living with and beyond cancer. The post holder is responsible for the provision and organisation of high quality administrative and secretarial skills that support the successful delivery of the Cancer Education Programme. The post holder will ensure trainings are efficiently planned, coordinated and organised, so that educational sessions run smoothly and efficiently The post holder will be co-ordinating the overall education training schedule, preparing all relevant correspondence and papers, ensuring accurate and open communication with participants of the programme. The post holder will facilitate and inform the interface of cancer pathways between health and social care and support the implementation of national/local guidance. The post holder will also identify and highlight any gaps in service provision.
