Summary
GCSE in maths and English grades A-C or equivalent relevant experience NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent level qualification Experience of working as a support worker within a health care setting Experience of working as part of a team Awareness of the impact of health and disability on lifestyle Awareness of health and social care systems Awareness of Stroke and Neurological conditions and the impact these have on function Awareness of how communication can be adapted to respond to a variety of clinical situations Awareness of the role of an Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist in health care Knowledge of health and safety issues within the work place and how risk can be managed Able to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
