Summary
Clinical: To provide outpatient and inpatient specialist hepatology services, including managing recipients of liver transplants. Shared responsibility with the other members of the multidisciplinary team for providing 24 hour, 7 day a week cover for the Liver unit on a rota basis. This is currently a 1:8 rota. Shared responsibilities for ensuring 24 hour, 7 day a week cover for emergency endoscopy for the Freeman whilst on-call for the liver unit. An interest in the management of steatotic liver disease would be desirable.
