We are recruiting a Mobile Facilities Assistant to support the delivery of hard and soft facilities services across multiple coastal sites.
Job Description
This is a hands-on, mobile position supporting maintenance activity, contractor coordination, cleaning teams, and site compliance. You will help ensure sites remain safe, compliant, and audit-ready. A company van is provided - a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Act as local point of contact for assigned sites
Coordinate contractor visits, inductions, and compliance with site health, safety, and security procedures
Log, coordinate, and monitor reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities
Support statutory compliance and site health & safety procedures, including fire safety and water hygiene checks
Provide general administrative support, including reviewing planned maintenance schedules
Liaise with the Assistant Facilities Manager during weekly or fortnightly site visits
Support day-to-day site operations, maintaining a safe and efficient working environment
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
UK Driver’s License (no more than 6 points)
BPSS clearance required (must have worked in the UK for last 5 years, clean criminal background)
Facilities management experience preferred but not essential
Confident and professional communicator with strong customer service skills
Highly organised and able to work independently
Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Office, CAFM System
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
