A well‑established secondary school with a thriving sixth form is seeking a dedicated A‑Level Biology Teacher to join its Science Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high‑quality Biology education and supporting students to achieve their best.
The Role
- Teach A‑Level Biology to sixth‑form students.
- Teach GCSE Science as part of the wider department.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support progress for learners of all abilities.
- Contribute to assessment, curriculum planning, and departmental development.
- Support students with practical work, coursework, and preparation for exams.
The Ideal Candidate
- A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge in Biology.
- Able to teach A‑Level confidently, or keen to develop experience at this level.
- Committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
- A team player with good communication skills and a positive approach to school life.
- Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
