Summary

Female Support Worker - Start 2026 with Purpose in SN14 (Chippenham)

Location: SN14, Chippenham (15-minute walk from Chippenham Community Hospital)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (varied shifts including sleep-ins)
Pay Rate: £13.04 per hour + £50 per sleep-in

About the role

We're looking for a Female Support Worker to join our warm, energetic team in SN14, supporting four adults—two women and two men—aged mid-60s to 80s. Three individuals have profound learning disabilities, and one has a mild learning disability.

You'll play an essential role in supporting daily routines, promoting independence, and creating positive, meaningful moments every day.

Who you'll be supporting:

You'll work with individuals who:

- Require personal care and support with daily routines

- Use hoists and wheelchairs

- Enjoy social interaction, activities, and familiar routines

- Benefit from a person-centred approach and positive risk-taking

Shift patterns include:

- Early: 7:00am - 2:30pm

- Late: 2:30pm - 10:00pm

- 24-hour: 10:00am - 10:00am (includes sleep-in)

- Sleep-in: 10:00pm - 7:00am (paid to sleep)

Your responsibilities:

- Personal care

- Hoist use and mobility support

- Meal preparation

- Medication administration

- Supporting meaningful activities and community engagement

About you

We're looking for someone who is:

- A female Support Worker (required under GOR)

- Experienced in high-needs or complex care settings (preferred)

- Energetic, proactive, and positive

- Comfortable embracing initiative and positive risk-taking

- Compassionate, patient, and person-centred
