Are you passionate about supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism?
We are looking for a qualified Social Worker to join our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism.
You will have the drive and enthusiasm to work collaboratively with individuals, families and other professionals and be Social Work England registered.
About the team…
Our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities (CTPLD) and Autism is a supportive and collaborative team built on compassion, inclusion and excellence.
The CTPLD and Autism is a great team to work in with a shared ethos, mutually supportive with a positive team dynamic. We work with others across the service to draw on specialist knowledge and support.
Our staff are our greatest asset and you will receive regular supervision, have access to excellent training opportunities and the ability to develop your professional skills and interests.
Key responsibilities…
You will hold a case load of people with learning disabilities and Autism and will be required to fulfil statutory duties on behalf of the service.
The post involves assessment, support planning and review, direct work with people who have a learning disability and/or Autism as well as general case management duties. You will also be responsible for supervising team members and have the opportunity to be involved in various projects.
Being a Senior Social Worker, you will also form part of the management team for CTPLD/Autism.
You will be provided with a laptop and a mobile phone to enable remote working.
Interview date
Interviews will be held week commencing 20th February 2026.
Interviews will be conducted in person, providing candidates with the chance to personally meet the team and experience our work environment.
