Summary

We're looking for a part time Planner to join our Thames Water team working on the Northern Thames Valley region.

Location: home, office in Gerrards Cross and Sites across the Northern Thames Valley.

Hours: 27 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Join our collaborative team working with Thames Water on their sewage treatment programme as a strategic delivery partner. As a Planner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our non-infrastructure schemes like wastewater treatment works upgrades are delivered efficiently and effectively. This position offers a nurturing environment where your planning expertise will be valued and your career growth supported.

What will you be responsible for?As a Planner, you'll be working within the Programme Controls team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes. Your day to day will include:

-Leading planning activities to deliver programme and project controls for a portfolio of water industry works

-Producing and reviewing programmes, dashboards, and reports to ensure project success

-Supporting the commercial team with accurate forecasting and resource management

-Collaborating with operational teams and evaluating subcontractor programme submissions

-Maintaining internal and external project controls reporting to ensure transparency

What are we looking for?This role of Planner is great for you if:

-You have UK-based planning experience with NEC/ICHEME contracts in the water industry

-You're comfortable working with clients and have experience with civils and MEICA-based projects

-You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy building relationships

-You're proficient with Primavera P6 and have a thorough understanding of programming techniques

-You thrive in a collaborative environment and care about delivering quality outcomes
