This role would suit an experienced Upper KS2 teacher or an ECT looking to develop in a supportive school with clear expectations, strong behaviour systems and a collaborative staff culture.

Full responsibility for a Year 5 class
Planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Upper KS2 curriculum

Working collaboratively with colleagues, senior leaders and families
Experienced Year 5 or Upper KS2 teachers
ECTs seeking a supportive Upper KS2 placement
Teachers who value consistency, teamwork and inclusion
Practitioners committed to high standards and pupil progress
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, including during training placements
Strong classroom practice and positive behaviour management
Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
