Summary

Food Production Operative - Temp to Perm

Knowsley Business Park, L34 | £12.63-£13.33 per hour | Monday-Friday | Immediate Start

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting for an experienced Food Production Operative to join our client based at Knowsley Business Park (L34). This is a genuine temporary-to-permanent opportunity with a well-established manufacturer supplying high-quality beef and vegetarian products to customers worldwide.

Key Duties

  • Mixing, weighing, and blending raw materials.

  • Keeping production lines supplied with required ingredients.

  • Completing all production documentation accurately.

  • Manual handling of weights up to 25kg.

  • Following SOPs for correct storage of ingredients.

  • Assisting in production as required to meet daily targets and KPIs.

  • Raising any training needs with HR or the Training Manager.

  • Maintaining a clean-as-you-go work area and demonstrating GMP standards.

  • Supporting continuous improvement and performance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a food production environment is advantageous.

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual, repetitive work.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

  • Proactive, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and progress.

  • Ability to follow procedures and work as part of a team.

  • Own transport or living close to site due to early start times.

What We Offer

  • Pay rates of £12.63-£13.33 per hour, depending on hours worked.

  • Pay rate increases from 1 April.

  • Enhanced overtime rates after 40 hours per week.

  • All breaks paid.

  • Monday to Friday shift, 5am-1pm (some flexibility required to cover holidays and sickness).

  • Genuine temp-to-perm opportunity.
