Summary
Pinnacle Group are seeking a Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness of a large workshop and office for Essex Fire Services based in Lexden, Colchester.
Our Soft Facilities Management division delivers essential services to homes, schools, universities and public sector organisations – including housing providers and blue light authorities. We focus on creating clean, safe and welcoming environments, with a commitment to quality, community impact and customer care.
The cleaner would be responsible for cleaning of all areas of the site including the workshop floor, training rooms, offices, reception areas, meeting rooms and toilets.
Hours are 7am to 12pm, Monday to Friday. Hours can be flexible.
This is a temporary assignment starting on Friday 6th February and ending on Friday 27th February.

Key responsibilities
- Cleaning tasks including damp mopping, washing surfaces, sweeping and vacuuming and touchpoints.
- Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, staff kitchens and dining areas
- Cleaning toilets facilities, hand basins and replenishing toilet paper, hand soap & towels
- To clean and sanitise touch points, door handles, push plates, and other surfaces.
- Waste management – collection, transportation, and storage of waste for both internal and external areas
Key requirements
- Use cleaning materials & equipment in accordance with health and safety and COSHH regulations.
- Cleaning experience.
- Due to the nature of the position a Basic DBS will be needed prior to starting.
