Summary
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and well-established nursery team.
This role is for a qualified practitioner only. You will work as part of a supportive team to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–4 years, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
The role involves supporting children’s learning and development through play, building strong relationships, and helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
**Key responsibilities include:**
• Supporting children’s individual learning, routines and care needs
• Observing, recording and contributing to children’s development
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and room leaders
• Maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment
• Communicating positively with parents and carers
• Following nursery policies, safeguarding procedures and health and safety requirements
**We are looking for someone who:**
• Holds a full and relevant Early Years qualification at Level 2 or above (qualified practitioners only)
• Has experience working within an early years setting
• Is kind, patient, reliable and enthusiastic
• Works well as part of a team
• Understands safeguarding and confidentiality
**Hours and pay:**
This role is paid at £12.80 per hour. Shifts are 9.5 hours per day and are either 7:30am–5:30pm or 8:00am–6:00pm.
The number of working days per week can be agreed with the successful candidate.
