We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive school in High Wycombe. This temporary, weekday-only role offers an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact on students' learning without weekend commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and small group support across various subjects
Assist with classwork, homework, and exam preparation
Help set and monitor individual student targets
Deliver tailored interventions based on student needs
Support learning in the classroom and during off-site activities
Act as a key worker for designated pupils
Assist with lunch, break, and on-call cover
Promote safeguarding and student wellbeing
Requirements:
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above)
Experience working with children or young people in education, care, or community settings
Confident using Microsoft Office and basic digital tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude
Desirable:
Experience supporting autistic students
Experience assisting with STEM subjects
