Summary
The main responsibilities of the role include the delivery and collection of items across hospitals within the Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, as well as other NHS organisations in the Worcestershire and Birmingham areas. This includes the secure transport of patient-sensitive data (medical notes), clinical specimens in accordance with relevant legislation, internal and external mail, and high-value hospital equipment. The role also involves the delivery and collection of time-critical pharmacy products and the transportation of theatre instruments between hospital sites.
