Summary
You will line manage a team of highly skilled healthcare science professionals providing medical equipment technical services to a diverse range of clinical specialisms throughout the Trust and to other NHS and private healthcare providers. (approximately 10,000 assets with a book value of £30m) You will be responsible for managing the commissioning, maintenance (corrective and planned), technical corrective measures for national technical safety recalls, decommissioning and disposal. Be Responsible for healthcare science technical training for team including continuous professional development and apprenticeships (educational level 3 to 6) Along with offering specialist technical advice to clinical and scientific staff.
