Summary
The post holder will be based in the Maintenance Team within the Estates and Facilities department at Cardiff Atrium and Newport, but the successful candidate will be expected to work at Treforest at least one day per week. The Estates and Facilities department oversee the operation of the significant University Estate, with over 70 buildings spread over 5 sites, including Pontypridd, Cardiff and Newport.
As Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation and control of all maintenance including management of our dedicated in-house maintenance team and legislative compliance throughout our academic buildings.
You will have experience in team leadership in a similar setting, with the ability to build a high-performance culture in a service area with deadlines, service expectations and the ability to meet our Service Level Agreements.
This is a full-time post based on one of our academic campuses.
