You will support pupils with a range of additional needs, enabling them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally while remaining part of the wider school community.
Your new role
We are seeking a teacher who believes in the potential of every child and is committed to delivering high‑quality, personalised learning. You will lead teaching and learning within a Resource Base, working closely with support staff, families, and external professionals to create a nurturing, structured, and aspirational environment.Your work will involve:
- Planning and delivering tailored lessons that meet a range of SEND needs
- Creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Working collaboratively with mainstream colleagues to ensure inclusive practice
- Leading and managing support staff within the Resource Base
- Monitoring progress and maintaining high‑quality records and EHCP targets
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers
- Contributing to whole‑school life and promoting inclusion across the school
What you'll need to succeed
- Holds QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience or strong interest in SEND
- Calm, creative, and flexible approach to teaching
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
