Summary
An excellent opportunity on offer for a general workshop operative looking to join a well-established, stable company in Corby.
Are you a person with an interest in mechanics and engineering?
In this role you will be expected to take part in production, assembly and provide support to the workshop in general.
The Role
* Ensure your work-area is kept organised.
* Parts preparation and cleaning to get ready for assembly.
* Shot blasting of turbocharger components.
* 42½hrs per week.
The Person
* Technically minded
* Reliable, flexible with a positive can-do attitude
* Willing to learn
* Able to use basic mechanical tools - Simple test prior to interview to establish competence level.
* Must be happy working in an engineering workshop
* Able to follow instructions
* Must be physically fit and happy to work on varying duties - Heavy lifting involved.
* Working with metal products
* Using various tools - Both hand held and mechanical
