Appointment will be at a band 7, in accordance with Annex 21 trainee terms and conditions. If successful the candidate will be expected to complete a Masters Qualification which will be supported by the Health Board. During your training period, you will receive a percentage of the full Band 7 pay rate in accordance with Annex 21 of the NHS Terms and Conditions of Service. This is likely to be around 75% of the full band 7 rate. The exact percentage will be determined based on your existing experience and qualifications, as well as the expected length of time required to complete your MSc and achieve full competence for the role. If a current employee is successful and moves into a trainee role and the training salary is lower than their existing pay, they will retain their current salary for the duration of training to avoid financial detriment.
