Summary
An opportunity for anyone with a passion for Hospitality. (live-in available)
The White Swan is looking to fill a position of Housekeeper. This is a great
opportunity for anyone who is looking to join a passionate and friendly team. This
position is open to anyone local who would be available on weekends and have
consistent transport to and from work.
Live-in is also an option with this position. The ideal live-in candidate would be
someone who is respectful and appreciates the guests of the hotel as well as the
other live-in staff. (We are unable to offer visa sponsorship. Applicants must already
hold the right to work in the UK.)
The White Swan Hotel is a fantastic 20 bedroom hotel with a great local reputation,
experienced team along with great training opportunities including online training and
apprenticeships. Our mission is to develop and continually drive forward The White
Swan as a warm and welcoming rural venue with rooms.
Previous hospitality experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be
provided. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail,
flexibility, and a positive, can-do attitude.

● Service charge that is divided equally amongst all employees based on hours
worked.
● Local amenities in Arundel are a quick 15 minute walk away, as well as being
within 20 minutes drive of Bognor Regis, Chichester and Worthing.
● Opportunity to progress in your career. With training courses encouraged for
those who wish to pursue further training.
● (live-in staff) £160 per month rent, taken before tax. inclusive of all bills with
access to the public WiFi.
Responsibilities:
● Deliver high standards of housekeeping across guest bedrooms and public
areas
● Ensure rooms are cleaned, prepared, and presented to hotel standards
● Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner
● Support the wider team with general duties as required
● Assist with light and general maintenance tasks when needed
● Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
● Manage time effectively to complete tasks within agreed deadlines
● Work independently when required, while also contributing positively to the
team
● Maintain honesty, professionalism, and discretion at all times
