The Head Teacher is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Welsh Teacher to join the school on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
The successful Welsh Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), including GCSE Welsh. This is a key role within the department, helping pupils develop their linguistic skills, cultural awareness, and exam techniques, while following and implementing the school’s schemes of learning.
The successful Welsh Teacher will have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Welsh or language specialism (ECTs / NQTs welcome to apply)
• Experience teaching Welsh up to KS4 / GCSE level
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A genuine passion for Welsh language, culture, and teaching
• Willingness to support extra-curricular Welsh or cultural activities
