The Head Teacher is seeking a driven and enthusiastic Design & Technology (DT) Teacher to join the school on a long-term basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role:
The successful DT Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), including GCSE Design & Technology. This is a key role within the department, helping pupils develop their practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities while following and implementing the school’s schemes of learning.
The successful DT Teacher will have:
•
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Design & Technology or related specialism (ECTs / NQTs welcome to apply)
•
Experience teaching DT up to KS4 / GCSE level
•
Strong classroom and workshop management skills
•
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
•
A genuine passion for design, technology, and hands-on learning
•
Willingness to support extra-curricular DT activities or clubs
