Summary
About this Role
You will deliver engaging, inclusive learning tailored to individual needs, creating a positive environment that builds confidence, independence, and employability. You will monitor and review EHCP targets, reflect on and improve your teaching practice, and work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to remove barriers, embed literacy and numeracy, and support positive learner outcomes.
About You
You will have experience teaching learners with additional needs, particularly SEMH, or supporting those with gaps in education.
You will be confident delivering Functional Skills to engage and motivate learners.
You will hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, DTTLS, or Certificate in Education).
You will have GCSEs in English and Maths at A*–C (or equivalent).
You will be committed to ongoing professional development, including Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding training.
