Summary
Medica Packaging Ltd is currently recruiting a Domestic Assistant to join our cleaning team on the Double Day Shift.
This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic site, working under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager or Domestic Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Daily cleaning of designated areas (sanitary ware, floors, surfaces, vacuuming, polishing, etc.)
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, hand towels and kitchen/canteen stock
• Emptying bins and waste disposal
• Supporting deep-cleaning and major cleaning activities when required
• Reporting maintenance issues and faults
• Assisting with furniture movement and general cleaning tasks
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to quality, health & safety, and hygiene standards
• Supporting stock control and basic administration
• Covering for other Cleaning Operators during holidays or sickness
• Assisting with training and guidance of colleagues where appropriate
Experience:
No previous cleaning experience is required — full training will be provided.
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, conscientious, flexible and trustworthy, with good attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
