We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Deputy Manager to join a well-established nursery setting.
About the Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring high standards of care, education, and compliance are consistently met.
Requirements:
• Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Ofsted-approved)
• Strong leadership experience within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Confident with EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and compliance
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Experience with staff supervision, mentoring, and rotas
• Strong understanding of day-to-day nursery operations
Responsibilities:
• Support the Nursery Manager in daily operations
• Lead and motivate the staff team
• Ensure safeguarding and compliance standards are maintained
• Support staff development and performance management
