Summary
Silloth-on-Solway Town Council is seeking to employ a part-time seasonal General Operative, to work alongside the grounds’ maintenance team. Zero hours contract, from 30 March to 30 September 2026. 20 hrs per week (Mon-Fri) and 4 hrs over 2 days (every 3rd weekend). You will be responsible for litter picking, emptying bins, watering and weeding flowerbeds, along with other grounds maintenance duties, depending on experience. We would welcome applications from operatives with previous knowledge and experience within this field, but it is not essential. Training, uniform and PPE will be provided.
