JOB DESCRIPTION – AIRBNB HOUSE WORKER (PART TIME ROLE – 6hrs per week)
The housekeeper for operating an Airbnb involves an extensive customer services function extending to maintenance and cleaning inside and outside of the property.
Summary of responsibilities:
• To maintain safe and healthy environment for all customers
• To facilitate check-in and check-out of customers
• To develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in deep cleaning or cleaning techniques for fabric, wood and metal furnishings
• Cleaning, setting up and inspecting rooms and ensuring that they are highly presentable
• Knowledge of household safety protocols, including fire exit locations and hazard prevention (e.g., keeping stairs free of clutter)
• Inventory and supply management for cleaning products and household essentials
• Time management skills and the ability to organise a work schedule
• The housekeeper required is usually expected to maintain honesty, strict confidentiality and avoid disclosing personal or household information about the service.
