Summary
As an Electrical Apprentice, you’ll work alongside experienced electricians to
learn all aspects of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing. You’ll
gain hands-on experience across a variety of projects while completing your
formal apprenticeship training through Exeter College. This is an excellent opportunity for someone enthusiastic about a career in

Duties include:
- Assist qualified electricians with the installation, maintenance, and
repair of electrical systems and equipment
-Help with wiring, containment, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with
regulations
-Support testing, inspection, and fault-finding under supervision
-Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients
-Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organised
manner
-Adhere to company and site-specific health & safety policies at all
times
-Accurately record work completed and materials used
This company is looking for an apprentice who has some experience in electrical installation. The apprentice will need to have completed a level 2/3 diploma in electrical installation.
Due to the work location, the apprentice will need to be 18 or over.
Training
You will study for the Electrical Installation apprenticeship at Exeter College.
Qualifications required
Level 2 or level 3 diploma in electrical installation
Skills required
Some basic electrical knowledge
Practical learner
Prospects
When you complete the course, you will be a qualified electrician.
Qualification / Standard : ST0152 Installation electrician and maintenance electrician
