Summary
Larksfield and Arlesey Medical Partnership is looking for an experienced and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our dedicated primary care team. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive and friendly environment. Main Duties of the Role Perform venepuncture safely and efficiently on patients of all ages in line with current clinical guidelines. Accurately label, process, and store blood samples, ensuring compliance with laboratory and infection control procedures. Prepare and maintain clinical rooms, equipment, and supplies. Provide reassurance and support to patients, maintaining a professional and friendly manner at all times. Maintain accurate patient records and data entry in line with practice protocols. Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient patient care. Follow all health and safety, confidentiality, and safeguarding procedures. Working Hours Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00am2:00pm 25 to 30 hours per week flexible within this range depending on practice needs Person Specification / Essential Skills Proven experience as a phlebotomist in a primary care or clinical setting. Excellent venepuncture skills with attention to patient comfort and safety. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Awareness of health and safety, infection control, and data protection standards.
