The Governing Body of Abercynon Community Primary School requires 2 Teaching Assistants (Level 3) to join a successful school for pupil ages 3 – 11 years old.This is an exciting opportunity to work in Abercynon Community Primary School and be part of the thriving community of Abercynon.

Applications are invited from learning support assistants. The Governors of Abercynon Community Primary School wish to appoint 2 inspirational Teaching Assistants with sound knowledge and experience of working in Early Years.
The successful candidate will:
• Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
• Deliver structured learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
• Support pupils with additional learning needs (ALN), emotional wellbeing and behaviour
• Assist with planning, preparation and assessment of learning activities
• Promote inclusion, safeguarding and positive behaviour
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to support the school’s values and ethos
• Be given opportunities to support their own professional development.The closing date for applications is Thursday 12th February at 12.00 midnight.
