Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the Housing industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects align with organizational objectives and client expectations. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating various activities, resources, and stakeholders involved in real estate projects, ranging from residential developments to commercial properties. Your leadership and communication skills will be crucial in guiding project teams, negotiating with vendors, and managing client relationships. You will be working closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals to create timelines, set budgets, and ensure that regulations and quality standards are met. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, anticipating challenges, and devising effective strategies to keep projects on track. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage housing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Develop detailed project plans that outline project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines while effectively communicating them to stakeholders.
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion and adherence to company standards.
Conduct regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders to review project status and resolve any issues or roadblocks.
Analyze risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on projects.
Prepare and present project reports to upper management and stakeholders, providing updates on progress, budget, and risks.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration
Essential to be qualified in Project Management (such as APMP or Prince2 or P3O or MSP) or be able to evidence more than 3 years’ experience in complex organisation(s). , or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the housing industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools, including Agile or Waterfall.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and related technology.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
