Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - St Paul's - Corporate Office - Up to £46,350 + £500 Bonus - NO CALLOUT!
CBW Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building, located in St Paul's, London. This building offers approximately 220,000 sq ft of area spread across a total of 13 floors and all within walking distance to major transport hubs, including Farringdon (National Rail & Underground), St Paul’s (Central Line), Barbican Station and Farringdon (Elizabeth Line), all within a 4-minute walk from the commercial building. You will be required to carry out mechanical maintenance across areas of the commercial building, all while working within a maintenance team. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G / NVQ), with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £46,350 + £500 Bonus, 25 days holiday + Bank holidays, plenty
of overtime available, further training and further career progression.
Hours of work:
- Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
- 07:00am to 16:00pm - Week 1
- 09:00am to 18:00pm - Week 2
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
- Maintain and update Log books
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Monitor the mechanical plant
- Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
- Cooling Towers
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Water Treatment
- General building fabric
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements:
- Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 (Required)
- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Client Facing
