Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Mathematics to join our successful and supportive department from September 2026. This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) position, suitable for experienced teachers or ECTs. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering high-quality lessons that inspire confidence, curiosity, and progress for all learners. For the right candidate, there is also the opportunity to teach at Key Stage 5.
We are an Outstanding Ofsted-rated school (April 2025) and, since 1 January 2026, have been part of the Laetare Catholic Multi Academy Trust. As a Catholic school, we are guided by values of respect, care, and service, which underpin our inclusive and welcoming ethos. Applications are warmly welcomed from candidates of all faiths and none. The successful candidate will:
• Be a qualified teacher with QTS
• Have the ability to teach Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4, and possibly Key Stage 5
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
• Be committed to inclusive, high-quality teaching and learning
• Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team
