Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
The Southwark Diocesan Board of Education Multi-Academy Trust are looking for an experienced and reliable painter and decorator to work across the schools within our Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and deliver a programme of works, which in cycle, ensures the trust estate and our schools continue to look smart and be well maintained.
As well as guaranteed work and a regular income, you will also receive a generous paid annual leave entitlement of 26 days (plus bank holidays) increasing to 30 days after 5 years service. You will also have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme, receive an entitlement to paid sick leave and access to all Trust Staff Benefits.
The successful applicant will:
• Be an experienced painter and decorator
• Have good organisational and time management skills to complete projects to time
• Have a driving licence and car/van to effectively travel between schools within the Trust
• Have a degree of flexibility when agreeing when work can be carried out
• Have high expectations of themselves and others
• Develop a strong partnership with schools and staff across the Trust
