Summary

We are working with a well-established and highly respected infrastructure and construction specialist, known for delivering complex projects across the UK, to assist them in hiring a Design Co-Ordinator for their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Design Co-Ordinator looking to develop their career within a forward-thinking organisation that values collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement. You will play a key role in supporting the design management function across a diverse portfolio of projects, working closely with internal teams and external consultants to ensure designs are coordinated, compliant, and delivered on time.

As the Design Co-Ordinator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Assisting with the coordination and management of design information across multiple projects
* Supporting the Design Manager in ensuring design deliverable meet programme, cost, and quality requirements
* Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve design queries
* Managing design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and schedules
* Monitoring design progress against agreed milestones and reporting on status
* Ensuring designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and client requirements

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:

* Previous experience in a design coordination or design support role within construction or civil engineering
* A good understanding of the design process and construction workflows
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Proficiency in document control systems and Microsoft Office (experience with BIM environments is advantageous)
