About the Role
We are seeking experienced Overprint Operators to join a high‑volume manufacturing environment in East Kilbride. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong attention to detail, good process discipline, and a background in production or thermal transfer printing.
As an Overprint Operator, you will be responsible for operating thermal transfer production equipment, ensuring outputs meet strict quality, efficiency, and safety standards. You will play a key part in delivering zero‑defect manufacturing performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate thermal transfer production equipment following defined work instructions and benchmarks.
- Perform overprint set‑ups to achieve targets for quality, yield, and efficiency while supporting a zero‑defects culture.
- Carry out equipment cleaning, assist with routine maintenance, and support ongoing improvements in production processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation and data entry in the business system.
- Provide constructive feedback on equipment, processes, and performance to aid team capability development.
- Assist flexibly in other production areas to support team targets and operational requirements.

- Previous experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to hit production targets in quality, waste, and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail with a natural ability to follow processes and work instructions precisely.
- Knowledge of problem‑solving techniques and quality tools.
- A flexible, team‑focused work ethic and strong housekeeping standards.
- Computer literacy and the ability to complete accurate data transactions.
