Based in Reading at Thames Valley Science Park, this role gives you the foundation to grow into more senior technical roles within a supportive team.

The Role

You’ll be involved in every stage of the production process. From preparing materials to recording results, each task helps build your technical confidence and gives you valuable insight into how real-world medical products are made.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow clear production steps to manufacture medical coatings
• Handle materials and label samples for testing and quality checks
• Clean, dry and prepare glassware and tools for daily use
• Keep accurate records and learn how to spot and fix simple errors
• Monitor stock and ensure your workspace stays tidy and safe
• Suggest better ways of working as you grow in confidence

The Person

• Lab or production experience is useful, but not required
• Science qualification (BTEC, HNC/HND or degree) preferred
• Keen to learn, follow instructions and grow technical skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy with record-keeping
• Reliable, organised and motivated to progress
