**Personal Care Assistant**

* About the service user
* I am looking for a reliable, compassionate person to provide support to a service user in their own home. I live with anxiety, depression, and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), so I am looking for someone who has an understanding of mental health and can offer calm, patient, and non-judgmental support. Maintaining dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing is very important.
**Hours and rate of pay**
* £12.21 per hour
* Hours to be discussed and agreed (flexibility preferred)
**What you would be doing**
* Providing practical and personal care support as required
* Offering emotional reassurance and companionship
* Supporting daily routines and household tasks
* Encouraging independence in a calm and respectful way
* Being understanding during periods of anxiety or low mood
* Following agreed support plans and boundaries
**The person I would like**
* Kind, patient, and emotionally understanding
* Experience or knowledge of mental health conditions (especially anxiety, depression, or BPD)
* Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
* Good communication skills
* Able to remain calm and supportive in challenging moments
* Respectful of privacy and confidentiality
* Experience in care is helpful but not essential
