Summary


The Building Supervisor is responsible for the efficient supervision of the Building Services Workshop Team at St George’s Hospital. The role ensures the effective operation and maintenance of the Trust’s estate, including buildings, equipment, and engineering services, while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

The Supervisor will allocate tasks to the Building Services staff, provide technical assistance on complex issues, and ensure minimal disruption to patient services. Duties include overseeing heating, ventilation, electrical systems, and safety compliance, while supporting capital projects, managing repairs, and ensuring statutory and mandatory compliance.
