IntroductionAcorn by Synergie is recruiting a Systems Service Engineer to join a specialist engineering company based in Bristol, supporting high-vacuum systems for clients operating within the nuclear industry.

Key Duties-
Carry out maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex high-vacuum and process equipment.

Provide on-site service and technical support to UK-based clients.

Ensure all work is completed in line with safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Communicate technical findings clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.

Work closely with the engineering team to support design improvements and innovation.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers.

Strong technical engineering background, ideally within electrical, control, or instrumentation systems.

Knowledge or experience of vacuum, gas applications, or high-vacuum systems.

Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.

SC or CTC security clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance.
