Summary

We are looking to recruit a Community Link Worker to be part of the Neighbourhood Team at Halifax Central Initiative, based at Elsie Whitely Innovation Centre.



Applicants must have experience of working in a paid or voluntary capacity with residents and/or community groups within a diverse community. Applicants must have good organisational and team working skills with the ability to communicate clearly in writing and face to face with a broad range of people. A knowledge and understanding of the issues that face people living in neighbourhoods like Halifax Central will be an essential requirement of the role.



You will be required to work with residents from all communities particularly focusing on Eastern European/Roma Heritage residents.



It is essential that the postholder has the ability to communicate in Czech/Slovak verbally and in writing.
