Summary
As a Senior Pharmacy Technician working in Medicines Management, you will be rotating across various specialities, including both outpatient and inpatient settings at both Leaders in Oncology Care and Harley Street sites. The successful applicant will work withthe Lead for Medicines Management & Patient Services and the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Haematology & Oncology in running an outpatient technician-based medicines optimisation/management service and maintaining the SACT e-Prescribingportfolio. Within the inpatient setting you will be working with the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Cardiac and Surgical services, and play a vital role within the pharmacy inpatient service and discharge planning team. The post holder will have day to day responsibility for various elements within medicines management/optimisation and will support with training and development of trainee technicians/pharmacy assistants. We have a strong emphasis on pharmacy technician development and there will be opportunities to gain further clinical pharmacy qualifications within the role.
