Bury - Full Time
We're looking for a reliable Handyperson to keep our facilities in top shape and ensure everything runs smoothly. In this role you will support by escorting sub-contractors around the site whilst assisting engineers on site with basic handy work such as door replacements, wall damages and general maintenance.
Please Note - This position requires the successful passing of a DV Clearance to be successful due to the nature of the contract.
What will you do?
-Carry out general repairs and maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, painting, basic electrical work)
-Escort sub-contractors around the site
-Respond quickly to repair requests and troubleshoot issues
-Perform routine inspections to prevent problems before they happen
-Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
-Ensure all work meets health and safety standards
What are we looking for?
-Proven experience in general maintenance and repairs
-Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
-Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
-Good communication and time-management skills
-CSCS card (desirable)
-A valid driver's license
